Web site addresses fatal crash
(Greensboro News-Record) Jacqui Causey and Katie Simmons have never met Casey Ryan Bokhoven. But they know the pain and suffering his death has caused Causey and Simmons have set up a Web site, www.myspace.com/justice4casey. The site has had more than 6,600 visitors since Monday. The two women, who have never met, set up the page for friends and family to talk about what happened to Bokhoven, a chef at Forsyth Country Club. “We wanted to give them a place to go where they could express their grief,” Causey said.

Vietname veterans memorial - Tribute honors latest to return home
(Patriot Ledger) For 20 years, the names etched in stone on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Clock Tower have been a bittersweet reminder of the men lost fighting for their country. The last name added, Charles Bifolchi, represents something else. His is a reminder of a missing Quincy son found and finally home. The organizers of the ceremony, Vietnam Combat Veterans Combined Armed Forces Quincy Chapter, recently established a Web site at quincyveterans.org.

Inquest held after webcam death
(BBC) A coroner has urged internet users not to circulate what he called “abhorrent images” of a man committing suicide. Telford Coroner Michael Gwynne was speaking at the opening of the inquest into the death of Kevin Whitrick, 42, of Wellington, who was found hanged. Det Ch Insp Jon Graves from West Mercia police said the tragedy was believed to be the first internet suicide.

Mum launches fight to ban pen tops
(ChronicleLive) Ben lives on in the lives of his school friends who have created an online tribute to him on the memorial website gonetosoon.co.uk. Many of his mates post messages almost daily and Nathalie said some still text his mobile. “It was difficult at first but now I just see it as an outlet for them,” she said. “The website is lovely.”

Victim, friends got into car with strangers
(BostonHerald) Chiara Levin graduated last April from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in arts and French. Friend Caelin Osborne of Kentucky called her “Cheechums” and wrote to her in an online tribute, “You touched many lives and nobody will ever forget all the good that you have done.”
