Funeral Home 2.0

Funeral 2.0
It is about time that funeral homes start living up to the expectancy of the public. We just got published with an explanatory story in the Funeral Business Advisor, how Respectance can be of help to Funeral homes and Chapels.

A short recap of the story:

Getting Referrals
Funeral directors know the traditional venues for referrals including affiliate advertisement, newspaper ads, yellow page marketing and word-of-mouth. Nevertheless, funeral directors also know the market is changing. There was a time when three generations of the same family would choose the same funeral director and services. Now, families do not even live in the same town and many do not even live in the same country. People often communicate with family and friends online. How is this done in a way that is easier to handle than a string of impersonal group emails? The answer is social-networking websites like Myspace and Facebook.

R.I.P. Heath Ledger

Heath Ledger
No matter how it happened, it is heart breaking that the wonderful young actor Heath Ledger from Australia is no longer with us. Our entire team was shocked and horrified. We decided to create a place ourselves where his fans from all over the world can express their condolences.

Heath Ledger was a ground breaking artist. He dared to go ways others did not dare to go. He played in Brokeback Mountain, he played the Joker. He went to extremes and was a heart throb to many.

May he rest in peace and may his work be respected and watched forever. It is worth it.
