Video uploads
Hey mom, just wait a couple of days! Once Respectance version 2.0 will be live, you can finally upload the interview you did with granny.
Sad but true 2 months after we launched the Respectance community last year, my grandmother passed away. Even though it has been the best thing yet I ever launched in my life, it was a bit too realistic to have to use it myself so soon. I was in the States, mom in Amsterdam. Nowhere to catch a plane to attend her funeral. Thank goodness, Respectance was there. The family, young and old, and from Australia to Amsterdam could join in.
One thing that let my mother down, was that she could not upload an interview that she did with my grandmother. It was too complex for her to first upload it to Youtube and then import it. I told her to wait for the new version of Respectance. And we are almost there. It will be possible to upload all videos you took with your digital camera directly to the Respectance website. Soon my mother will feel like a real nerd, she can upload videos in a blink of an eye ;-)
